Honeypaw emerged from the apprentices' den, fur bristling as she walked. She padded over to the freshkill pile and examined the pile with a careful eye. Drat, there weren't a lot of squirrels. She huffed, and decided to ask the deputy, Darkaura, if he could perhaps let her go out on a hunting patrol.
