Birchpaw awoke and screwed up his eyes as bright sunlight hit his eyes. Yawning, he stretched and looked around. Surely there is someone to talk to... Birchpaw thought bitterly. The last few days had definitely been pretty boring.

Greypaw slipped into the apprentices' den, the medicine cat apprentice's grey fur bristling. "Hey," he greeted Birchpaw, acknowledging him with a quick bob of the head. Greypaw hesitated, then made to sit next to him. "So," Greypaw drawled, "how's training?"

"Since its Newleaf, you and Radiancedusk must be very busy gathering herbs." he guessed. "Need any help?" he offered, happy to be of some use.
