A thought about the site...

Sooo. I've been thinking about this, and I'd like some opinions on this. I know a lot of you like advanced roleplay- in fact, I think I've done an advanced roleplay with quite a few of you on WCARPG. My thought is what if we make this a literate RP site? I could change the rules and make the minimum post a certain number of words or sentences... I was thinking 150 words, but that might be a bit much for some. So maybe the main area would be like... 8 sentences minimum? And then perhaps we could have an 'advanced literate' section which is 150 words minimum?

I dunno, what do you guys think? Do you like the idea? Do you think 8 sentences is too much or too little?

I would be very annoyed because of it. A paragraphortwo minimum should be fine, not a speific sentence requirment

I can't say it's a terrific idea. As much as I like rping advanced, you have to think about the people who'll be joining the site. More relaxed rpers will look at the requirement and say, "Meh, it's not worth joining." And we do want more members, right?

Mmm, true. What if we just add the advanced area, then? And it won't have to be 150 words, I know that's a challenge to do a lot of the time.

I don't think there should be a limit in the normal section. But a limit in the advanced.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking I'll do now. You can write as much or as little as you want in the normal areas, and then in the advanced areas, I'll come up with some amount as a minimum for what you write.
Anyone have some suggestions for minimum words for the advanced area, then?

Yup! For advanced:
- MUST have correct grammar/spelling - it's absolutely fine if you edit your post later on, but please please please, if the main advanced area is looser, make a stricter advanced area? I'm one of those people who just ... gets these really awkward chills when I see this badly-written paragraph in advanced

- 4 sentences minimum is good

- Follow the site's rules, doh

For main area:

- Must be understandable, duh

- Normal site rules

Okay, even though four sentences seems like too few for me. I guess I just like to write more, then.

Anywho, I'll go set this up now. One last question though. Should we do the whole you have to get an advanced bio accepted before you can post there? Because I like that thought.
