Blossomlake shrugged some more and nodded in acceptance before searching the area for a mouse. Swiftly finding a decent-sized brown mouse, she dropped down low into the stalking position, belly fur brushing grass.

Blossomlake stalked forward, ears pricked and eyes wary for any movements that would catch her off-guard before she pounced, claws scratching at the mouse's small back. Ending it's misery with a brisk bite on the neck, she padded back with a bounce in her pawsteps towards Rookpelt.

"Impressive," Rookpelt meowed sincerely. "I wouldn't have been able to catch that, no matter what proportion it was. It's just my natural instinct to race after my prey, and so I wouldn't be as light-footed as you."

Blossomlake smiled and meowed back warmly, "It's just how Thunderclan cats are trained; and anyway, I bet you're swifter than me, seeing as you're Windclan." The last part ended bitterly, as it reminded her once again of their differences.

Blossomlake frowned thoughtfully and nodded slightly, acknowledging the sad fact. Sighing, she sat down before meowing brightly, "Let's eat." Her eyes twinkled gently.
